This peaceful fine art photograph of Alum Bay on the Isle of Wight was captured just as the first light of day began to rise. Using a long exposure, I softened the surface of the sea into a glassy calm, letting the moment stretch and breathe. In the distance, the silhouette of the cable car and its delicate lines lead the eye from the shore to the cliff top—quiet, still, and full of promise.

The soft pastel tones of the early morning sky add a gentle warmth, a quiet contrast to the cool stillness of the water. It’s one of those scenes that felt timeless even while I was capturing it.
