Hi, I’m Christian Lawrence — a passionate photographer living on the beautiful Isle of Wight with my wife and our two children.

For me, photography is more than a hobby; it’s a way to pause, reflect, and escape the noise of everyday life. Whether I’m out at sunrise walking along the shoreline or capturing the vibrant energy of a street scene or motorsport event, there’s something deeply grounding about looking at the world through a lens.

I’ve had a love for photography since I was young, but it truly found its place in my life over the years — especially as I balanced work, travel, and family life. It became my way of slowing down and staying present. Now in my 50s, that connection to photography is stronger than ever.

Living in West Wight, surrounded by dramatic cliffs, open skies, and peaceful beaches, gives me endless inspiration. Some of my favourite moments are spent with my camera in hand, exploring spots like Compton Bay, often with my dog by my side.

Every photo I take holds a memory, a feeling, a story — and sharing them is just as meaningful to me as capturing them. I hope you enjoy browsing through my work and seeing the world as I see it, one frame at a time.
